The
Sahara is a first-class, landmark, casino-hotel at the north
end of the Las Vegas "Strip". The hotel is just
around the corner from the convention center and convenient to
McCarran International Airport. Recently renovated, the Sahara
offers one of the newest "Strip" attractions -
"Speed", the fastest roller coaster in Las Vegas,
launched from inside the Nascar Cafe. For shopping the hotel
offers seven unique shops and for dining there are four
restaurants at the Sahara.
The remodeled, spacious guest
rooms are decorated in a Moroccan motif. The Sahara offers ADA
approved guest rooms as well as nonsmoking rooms to make all
of their guests feel comfortable and at home. The Sahara
offers several onsite dining, shopping and entertainment
venues. Please note: due to rising energy costs, the Sahara
will be charging a $3 per night energy surcharge, per each
guest room, paid directly to the hotel by the guest.
